Nannie Elizabeth Dillon Stultz age 89, formerly of Martinsville, passed away on Thursday Oct. 20, 2016 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born Apr. 13, 1927 in Franklin County to the late Robert Moses and Mary Katie Ellis Dillon. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Jesse Carlton Stultz in 2009, one daughter, Judy Ann Stultz and one sister, Mary Barbour.

Mrs. Stultz was a member of Starling Ave. Baptist Church. She graduated from Franklin County H.S. class of 1945, attended Radford University, taught school for 2 years, and worked for Lacy Manufacturing and Bassett-Walker for many years as a seamstress. Mrs. Stultz was well known for crafts which she made and sold. She taught basket weaving classes for several years. She enjoyed camping with her husband.

She is survived by one son, Gary Stultz and wife Brenda of Wirtz, one daughter, Kathy Shelton and husband Phillip of Ridgeway, one brother, Clyde Dillon of Wirtz, three sisters, Etheleen Layman of Wirtz, Donie Robertson, and Nina Prillaman of Rocky Mount, and several half brothers and sisters, four grandchildren, Leigh Ann Stultz, Damon Stultz, Chris Shelton, and Michael Shelton, four great granddaughters, Skylour Stultz, Reagan Stultz, Carly Stultz, and Kyla Shelton.

Her funeral service will be Sunday Oct.23, 2016 at 3:00 pm in the Roselawn Chapel with Pastor Brian Harrington officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday prior to the service in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Stultz may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 308 Craighead St., Danville, VA 24541.
