Obituary for James Allen Viars

James Allen Viars age 66 of Axton, passed away on Saturday July 22, 2017 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. He was born March 6, 1951 in Radford, VA to the late Emmett Clyde and Versie Newby Viars Hall. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step father Burch Hall, and three sisters, Nancy Willard, Mae Ferguson, and Sibyl Brown.

He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith, and had worked at National Homes before becoming disabled.

He is survived by two brothers, Emmett Clyde Viars, Jr. of Axton, and Billy Spencer Viars and wife Wanda of Ridgeway, two sisters, Bonnie Willard and husband Calvin of Axton, and Evelyn Mabe and husband Bobby of Bassett, and numerous nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Roselawn Chapel with Rev. Kenny Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday in the Roselawn Chapel. Online condolences may be entered at www.roselawnchapelfuneralhome.com.
